A FOODIE FAMILY est. 1980

We are an independent, agile, family-run business with a foodie hunger. Our people embrace and embody our family values of trust, integrity, respect and innovation. These values have helped us to build a proud history of forging loyal relationships with our customers.

Our founder, Peter Bateman, is now Chairman and Peter’s son, Charles, is Managing Director. From our depot in Boston, we serve a diverse range of customers in 17 counties across the Eastern side of the UK.

CHEF INSPIRED

Our development chef team thrive on helping our customers, whether that is conceiving a whole new menu or designing a more efficient kitchen layout. Adding value and finding solutions is their forte.

BUTCHERY

Our artisan butchery is home to Chris Jelley (C.J.) and his team of skilled butchers. The Himalayan salt wall in our butchery’s dry-ageing room produces sensational results. All of our beef is UK sourced and Red Tractor accredited.

FRESH PRODUCE

In addition to our fresh produce (sourced locally whenever possible), we have a specialist fresh produce preparation facility on-site. The range was established by our development chefs who created a solution to save time and food waste in the kitchen without compromising on quality.

PEACE OF MIND

Our BRC accreditation is a testament to the highest levels of quality and safety we adhere to. Our technical team can help you by providing advice such as understanding allergies. Every customer receives free access to an online allergy checking tool.
